Chicken Pot Pie Soup

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts- cut into bit sized pieces
  • 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 lbs red potatoes, cut into 1″ squares
  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbs salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

In slow cooker, stir together spices, soups, and water.  Add chicken, potatoes, and onion.  Cook on high for four hours.  Add frozen vegetables and cook on low for 1-2 more hours, or until potatoes are tender.
